I now have to be away from the internet for hours at a time so I have to make a quick pre work post:
scientists are making robots that can emulate human emotions. Their most advanced robot, kenji, went from 'puppy love' mode to 'stalker mode' pretty quickly. This was problematic, as kenji has 100kg arms and is a robot.
